As a Marketing Department Manager, to achieve the organizational objectives the following resources contribute for the operations. For the human resource, the leading role is of the 'Marketing Director', who is responsible for dealing all the operation in the marketing domain. The brand promotions and all marketing elements are to be worked on by the approval of this authority. The Unilever Marketing Manager communicates the concept to the team and considers the view points of the department personnel. The department talks to its customers to deliver accordingly, focusing on the real impact of brand activation.

For the physical resource, the core reason of success is the 'technology'. Unilever has always highly invested on its technology to cope up with the competitors. It has also supported the organization with its innovation process. The company has continuously invested on the technology at regular intervals (Fulgoni & Andress 1992, p. 1).
