Introduction

In management theory there is no single definition of "manager". All the proposed definitions are based on an understanding of the essence of management. The word "management" in its original sense meant the ability to go around horses, and rule over them. Basis - the English verb "to manage" (manage), which comes from the Latin "manus" (hand). If you follow the logic, the "management" literally means "managing people". In modern science, under the "management" refers to the process of leadership or management employee, the working group, team, and various organizations operating in a market economy. The sport management is concerned with the efficient operation of multiple types of sports organizations, ranging from professional teams in several amateur sports organizations national and international associations, conferences and associations. There is a need for competent managers at all levels of the sports industry. It is therefore essential that students in sport administration develop skills in the main components of the field of business such as finance, management, marketing and operations (Hums and Goldsbury, 2008).

Sports management is a separate type of professional activities aimed at achieving the objectives of physical culture and sports organizations, which operates in a market through the rational use of material, labor and information resources. In other words, a sports management - the theory and practice of effective management of organizations in the sports industry market conditions. Overseas books are our manager as a leader, holding a permanent position in the organization and competent in making decisions on its operations in market conditions. The work of the manager is judged not by what he does, but by how he inspires the work of others.

Management activities are one of the most important factors in the operation and development of physical culture and sports. Historically in our country so happened that the management of the sport involved coaches, instructors, and Methodists. They often combined their teaching and educational work with the management of the club, sports associations, sports federation, even though their job description did not include performance of such duties (Crosett and Hums, 2008).

Sports management as a kind of professional managers in the sports industry is the result of division and cooperation of their work. As we have noted, the reason for the appearance of sports managers has become a market economy, have exhibited special requirements for managers in terms of economic competition.

Discussion

Sports organization has a specific internal structure, based on the specifics of a particular sport. It has offices, departments, divisions, groups and teams. In other words, in sports organizations there are different kinds of management activities. Along with them comes the structure of relationships and subordination. This means that managers are at different levels and different problems they solve. Managers are generally accepted to divide into three main groups:

The strategic level (top manager) - it's the leaders of sports schools, sports complexes, the presidents of sports federations and clubs, etc.
