Introduction

A team is referred to as a group of people that are working together to achieve common goals and objectives. Teams are appointed at the workplace for the purpose of conducting various tasks that are quite complex and have many independent subtasks. Members in a team have their own individual skills and abilities which helps them to maximize their strength and minimize their weaknesses. Team members help and motivate each other so that they can realize their true potential and can work beyond their limitations.

Team work in any business organization can lead to precise decisions. A recent study was conducted which revealed that greater team work can increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the organization.

The paper will discuss how the differences in individual working in a team can motivate each other and help in building a strong team. The paper will also highlight the characteristics of the learning styles, followed by the two theories of motivation.

Building a team

It has been proved that organization perform well when employees work together as a team. Working in teams is very beneficial as it creates synergy in the business organization. The productivity is also enhanced as the combined effect of the team is much higher than the individual hard work and their efforts. When employees are working in a team, they can utilize their own individual skills and abilities and experiences to resolve complicated and complex organizational problems. While working g in teams, individuals can think beyond the scope and can create innovative solutions.

It is very essential for the management of every organization to build strong teams, so that they can increase overall productivity and efficiency which can further contribute to the success of the organization. The management can build strong teams by firstly communicating their vision to the team members. The vision will enable the team members in setting their direction for organization goals. After communicating the vision to the team members, the management should also invest adequate time and resources in the people in order to build and maintain the efficiency of the team. The management must continuously train and mentor the employees for continuous improvement.

The management must develop and maintain strong relationship with the team members so that the employees can feel comfortable. It is quite evident that the most perfect way to keep the team members together is to give them ownership. The team members should be given empowerment so that they remain committed and loyal (Wheelan, 2010, pp 129)

Organization creates teams in order to Inc erase productivity. Individuals working in team bring their skills and talents together in order to bring the best results. When individuals are working in a team, they are able to achieve their goals and objectives faster and are also successful in meeting customer expectations.
