Introduction

The world we live in today was never the same as it appears to be. It has under gone constant changes, right from its inception, and it will continue to evolve till the last day. Advancements in our society, lifestyle, and gadgets are not a chapter belonging to recent yester years; the progress made by mankind is a continual process. Technology and progress had their own meanings with every era. I.e. in ancient times the invention of fire and wheel would be progress; however, in today's time, the fastest flying jet or software that performs numerous functions in spilt seconds is what we define as technology. The technology and advancements, especially in the computer or hardware sector have shaped our lives in a way which would be perplexing for any person belonging to ancient times. These technologies are not luxuries anymore but have become an integral and imperative part of our lives, which only have not made our lives fast paced but also a lot easy and convenient, than ever before.

System Engineering and Progress It Has Acquired

System engineering is an amalgamation of two or more fields of study, which encompasses the process of catering to all the needs of a customer, with respect to a system or program that are mandatory for not only the working of the system, but also the understanding of the user to produce the desired result. The process of system engineering evolves with respect to the changing needs of the customer, and this evolving process constitutes of a number of steps before a system is designed which may satisfy the requirements of the customer. The steps begin by first stating the persisting issue, which would enable developers to understand the requirements of the customer, in comparison to the existing systems. After that, the developers opt for evaluating the best alternative that can satisfy the need of the customer in a better way, keeping in mind the cost and performance and risk each alternative entails. In the third step, before shaping up the final product, the developers create a model of the most feasible alternative, not only does it help in deducing the performance, and reveal any constrictions in the system, but also evaluating all the requirements.
