Introduction

The culture of China is one of the most ancient and complex civilization of the world which includes a history of more than 5000 years. The country covers a vast geographical region with customs and traditions varying greatly between towns, cities and provinces. China culture is a broad term used to describe the cultural foundation, even among Chinese-speaking regions outside the Chinese mainland. Although China began research on genetically modified organisms (GMOs) in approximately the same time as its international partners to do, China has long remained in the laboratory and in everyday life in the average person.

a.      Chinese religious beliefs and genetic crops
