ICRC is international organization founded in year 1863, is working to help people who are victimized in armed conflicts and form other aberrations leading to violence in wartime. The organization has driving mission and vision which makes their people enable to constantly provide their services and achieve their all missions. The organization has also impulsive organizational strategies which creates the powerful force to achieve small milestones and successes to achieve their all missions and objectives. This mission, vision and corporate strategies of company is also strongly aligning with Swiss national culture which shows the potentiality of organization long-term stability in Switzerland. Swiss culture shares values with ICRC with perfectionism, egalitarian, strong client orientation, prudence and the like. Further, there are many players which are considerably taking part in non-profit humanitarian industry which includes the partner organizations of ICRC, HISC and many private companies who are directly funding from their profits for humanitarian purpose in war-torn countries. The organization is currently facing various challenges where it requires fully exercising its available resources, hiring right people with right expertise and identifying more and more funding sources.

ICRC Mission

The mission of ICRC is to protect the lives and dignity of those who are highly vulnerable and victimized from conflict in war and other violence in the country. ICRC is working on this humanitarian mission by constantly providing them financial and counseling services to all people affected in armed conflicts. Apart from financial and counseling aid, ICRC also endeavors in strengthening and promoting the humanitarian law across those international frontiers. ICRC is working on its mission by considerably focusing on providing quality services and putting their Human Resources at the centre of its work.

ICRC Vision

The vision of ICRC is to make significant difference in lives of people who are affected from the conflict wars but working in close proximities to them and ensuring to build their resilience by providing high quality services at right time and right place along with its other partners including Red Crescent Societies and National Red Cross. Further, the vision of organization is to influence the world governments and other policy makers to focus on lives and dignity of their people affected during wartime. The ICRC tends to develop this by shaping and strengthening the debate on legal and policy issues of humanitarian laws which consequently leads to extinct of wars from the world (ICRC, 2011).

Organizational Strategies

ICRC organizational strategies include the ways and strategies by which they translate their vision and mission.
