Abstract

The paper discusses that psychology and cognitive. It is found that social competence of a subject has an important contribution to personal competence today as personal and social success seems more related to sociability and interpersonal skills of the subject with their cognitive skills and intellectuals. This study examines the language competency of learning disabled children as it relates to social situations demanding interpersonal communication skills. The importance of studying the content and style of the learning-disabled child's communication across social situations is stressed. Children who are ignore by their peers and above all children, who are reject by them, are more at risk of various problems in childhood and adolescence. Special attention should be given to students with behavioral disorders and those who suffer social rejection and isolation. Different theories are presented to address the problem and increase the learning process in this regard. In addition to this Social cognitive theory was presented which is a learning theory based on the ideas that people learn by watching what others do and that human thought processes are central to understanding personality. The optimal development of children is considered vital to society and so it is important to understand the social, cognitive, emotional, and educational development of children.

Introduction

Social cognition is the encoding, storage, retrieval, and processing, in the brain, of information relating to conspecifics, or members of the same species. At one time social cognition referred specifically to an approach to social psychology in which these processes studied according to the methods of cognitive psychology and information processing theory. However, the term has come to be more widely used across psychology and cognitive neuroscience. For example, it is use to refer to various social abilities disrupted in autism and other disorders. The core symptoms that define this syndrome (inattention, impulsivity, and hyperactivity) appear to be responsible or at least partly explain the characteristics familiar (Vygotsky, Dec 1978, 45-67).
