Introduction

The biggest problem is transnational organized crime as it greatly affects “human security, impeding the social, economic, political and cultural development of societies worldwide” (UNODC, 2008). National security alone affects everyone and if weapons are being traded or parts of weapons of mass destruction are being handed over to the enemy then think about what could happen to the world as citizens know it. What threats have citizens lived through already? This issue not only affects our homeland here in the United States but also reaches other countries as well. What about trafficking of drugs, humans, money, and firearms? All these crimes have definitely become true nightmares for numerous countries and will continue to posses a huge threat until law enforcement can get some type of control over criminal activity.

African Americans or Black Americans are citizens or residents of the United States who have origins in any of the black populations of Africa

Mexican civilization started with Native American establishments such as the Aztecs and the Incas. These civilizations flourished for many years and had fine accomplishments such as great cities and art.

In the beginning of the twentieth century the African Americans of the United States were treated unfairly, to inhumane extremes, with acts so cruel that they would scar Americans for decades to come.

The Mexican citizens were in the areas now know as Texas, California, and New Mexico had the choice of either moving to Mexico or becoming United States citizens. Many of them stayed becoming the first Mexican Americans.

The intelligence and imagination of African-Americans have shaped American-culture, produced wealth in American economy, and refined notions of freedom and equality in American politics.

Despite all of the hardships faced by Mexican American, they preserved their culture through their language and their customs and celebrations.

When observing any culture, numerous indicators can be found that characterize a certain people. Within the African-American universe, religion is the sun around which, all things tend to revolve.
