Violent Juvenile Offenders

Abstract

In this study we try to explore the concept of violent juvenile offenders in a holistic context. The main focus of the research is on young offenders and its relation with violence. The research also analyzes many aspects of past and current scenarios and tries to gauge its effect on why there is violence in youngsters. Finally the research describes various factors which are responsible for violent juvenile offenders and tries to describe the overall effect of violent juvenile offenders.

Violent Juvenile Offenders

Introduction

Juvenile offenders refer to the crimes carried out by young people or minors. A violent juvenile offenders or a criminal is one who relapses and commits crimes repeatedly. Most legal systems consider specific procedures for dealing with this problem, such as juvenile detention centers. There are many different theories about the causes of crime, most if not all of which can be applied to the causes of juvenile crimes. Juvenile crimes often receive great attention from the media and politicians. This is because the level and types of juvenile crimes can be used by analysts and the media as an indicator of the general state of morality and public order in a country and as a result can be a source of alarm and moral panic.

When referring to the feeling of insecurity in relation to harmful behavior in different human societies, juvenile delinquency is presented, almost always and at all times, as one of the elements main that engender. It is observed that after the 20th century the youth violence has increased and that the ages are around twelve years for all types of crimes. There is a perception that the juvenile crime has not declined in recent decades.

Youth violence in the United States has also increased than before. Many juvenile gangs have come to a road for conducting different crimes in the United States. The gang fight has become a real drama in the United States. California of U.S is a city that lives in recent years the highest rates of violence in its history. After about 20 homicides in the last seven days, statistics show that in the city have recorded 612 deaths due to violence, so far this year. This is the highest number of deaths since 1996, when the city recorded a total of 707 homicides. Children as a juvenile have also increased in the United States. It is caused by the way parents raise their children. Many children are neglected and abused daily by their parents, in fact violence is linked to these abuses. Some parents, for some reason have many problems, not realize what their children. There are many negative influences that children are exposed to. The media also plays a negative role in this problem. Children and teenagers are listening to music and popular culture.
