As a result, the labor force in most large corporations is now more reflective of the general population than it did in the past. Of particular interest is the management of interpersonal relationships as heterosexual and homosexual employees in the workplace(Mintzberg, pp.56-70).

In a thriving economic climate, corporations are often forced to compete for skilled workers. Many companies have tried to attract such employees by offering benefits that meet their needs of life. The advantages of this kind of projects the corporation stressed that the adoption and fairness. These characteristics are highly valued by prospective employees and are one of the main factors considered when choosing between competing proposals.

In terms of interpersonal relationships of employees is a delicate issue that requires attention. Management must recognize that the workforce is a variety of constantly changing face. To do this, management should assess the lifestyle needs of the workforce and integrate that into the corporate policies in such a way as to not adversely affect other areas. For this, management must continually assess and develop corporate policies to address the issues that will undoubtedly arise.

Different complications of relations exist in the workplace. There are some obvious cases of relationship problems that are directly observable and able to manage. But there are also cases where complications arise outside of these relationships. An important aspect of management of interpersonal relationships is the ability to detect and eliminate these complications fairly (Goleman, pp.69-70).
