What is social science?

Social Science is about the community around you, both at local, national and international level. In social sciences you should strive to learn about how our society is built and how it works and what power factors which play a role in society. We must therefore deal with issues such as democracy, the political system, political parties, ideologies, social relations, economics, globalization, international politics etc. All these issues affect more or less influence on everyone's daily life and are key pillars of regime of a country and in social Science (Roger, Backhouse, & Philippe, pp. 256 -261).



What is social science based on?

Social Science is a discipline where you learn about society. About how society works today, how society has functioned in the past, how society works in other countries - at all about different types of controls in a community. In social Science teacher also about politics, the various political parties in Denmark, various ideologies such as liberalism and communism. We learn to look beyond our own personal needs and see the world in a context that is larger than our own little private community (Flyvbjerg, Pp. 312-318)

Concerns of Social science

Social Science is to learn about society and its ideologies. We must learn about the different social concepts so we can make the decisions to be taken in society and so we can help to structure society in the way we think is right because a whole will all do like to have the same goal the question is just the method we arrive at the goal and it's all about civics. We must not only look at national society we must also look at the global social aspect and understand why it goes like it does here at home, may be because it is different out in the global community(Roger, Backhouse, & Philippe, pp. 256 -261). Social Science is the study of society. Social Science is about understanding how society hangs together, and to understand and interpret the things happening around the world. It's about to go into detail of the individual events, and look at the people who have been behind. It is important to be able to understand and interpret other people's motives, in order to understand their actions. It is important in social science to respect other people's attitudes and opinions, and also to be able to counter arguments with sound evidence (Sabia & Wallulis, Pp. 145-152). Social Science is about understanding and appreciating the others situations and culture in order to be able to see the world from a broader perspective.
