Introduction

According to the dictionary, “religion is the service as well as worship of God or the supernatural”. It is right that all religions do involve the worship of some supernatural force; though, it is as well true that no religion in history has ever stopped at that. For a more complete definition of the word religion we will have to look at two other aspects. How has it influenced man over the centuries? And what is the true incentive of its leadership? 

A number of followers would have believed that it has brought peace and harmony to the world and that its leaders are provoked by the service of their god. Religion, a feudal system of government which uses fear, hate and at times lies to control and influence people for the betterment of a select group of individuals. “Religions around the world contain practices and beliefs that assist people recognize the significance of life and give people answers to the vital questions that they have regarding life, death as well as the existence of God. World religions have fundamentals in common like systems of basic beliefs, holy writings, sacred places and special holidays and celebrations.”[1]

Discussion

Now we will discuss the world's biggest religious beliefs' similarities and differences.The Jewish people are extremely faithful to their God and seek the meaning of life in their understanding of God. Judaism initiated in the land of Israel in the Middle East. The Jews believe that a single, magnificent God created the universe and still directs it, and everything has meaning. The same God who formed the world revealed himself to the Israelites at Mount Sinai.
