Education is an important means for cultivating people and an important social phenomenon. Humanity depends on education to pass on the experience of its forebears, to cultivate new people, generation upon generation, and thereby to advance the development of society. In this sense, education is closely linked to society. Education has existed ever since human communities came into existence, and it has developed in line with the needs of human society. Educational at institutional level has fundamental importance, especially language education.

Learning a foreign language involves learning about the associated recognized culture (art, literature, music, films, etc). It also involves looking closely at features specific to life in the country or countries in question: from attitudes to work, leisure, religion or politics down to table manners and body language. The universities often have complementary--more accurately, overlapping--admission and core curriculum requirements, each defined in terms of instructional units or college courses, up to a specified level in the course sequence. Typically, four-year colleges and universities specify two to three years of study of one foreign language in high school.
