Introduction
Historically, in the beginning of the urbanization there was a slow growth in the world population, from nearly 2 million to approximately 50 million in the Middle Ages duration. The only reason of the population climbing to such dizzy heights is the advancement and revolution in the technology in the world. In the twentieth century, the population on this planet increased almost fourfold, from about 1.5 billion to 7 billion. (Brown, 1995)
A baby born on October 31st, 2011, was marked as seven billionth baby of the world. The world's population has reached 7 billion, now the questions arise, that a milestone of 7 billion must concern us or make us celebrate? From 1950-2050, the figure has already touched 7 billion and in less than 40 years the population will climb up to more than 9 billion. As the U.S Census Bureau, International Data Base reported, the rapid growth of population will continue to grow at this pace for at least another 40 years. By the end of year 2050, the population is expected to reach a total of 9 ...
