Angelology

Introduction

The study of Angels is known as Angelology. It is derived from Greek word “Angelologia”. Which is the combination of two words “Angelos” means messenger and “Logos” means the sayings of Angels. It is usual to believe that what are angels, where they come from, what was their job? The entire queries give breath when you read the scriptures. For studying Angelology, one has to put his soul belief in order to understand the theology. The doctrine of Angels is divided into three divisions of Angelology. Firstly, it is about the doctrine of pious Angels. Secondly, it describes the doctrine of Satan. Thirdly, it portrays Demonology, which describes about the fallen Angels. There are so many wrong concepts regarding angels, such as, we were educated that Angels are fugacious emissions from God or the permanent emanations which lasts forever. Another concept always pop up in mind that Angels are those overestimated human beings when a religious believer dies and send to heaven, and he turns into an angel. Other believes that angels do not exist.

In reality, Angels are the messengers and attendants of God. In the entire bible it is generally perceived that the messages and wills of God are usually carried out by the force of Angels. These are the spirit which exists without bodies and posses gigantic strength, superior astuteness and surpassing holiness. Pious Angels have given two specific labels in Scripture. These Angles are being called by Elect Angels, which means they are from those devoted angels who are confirmed in their saintliness. After creation of Adam and Eve by God, he subjected them in an examination in the Garden of heaven to see whether they follow the God instructions or disobey the regulations made for them. Just like in the same way, after the creation of Angels by God, he then subjected them in a similar test to see the act of obeying. It is observed that one third of the angels was fallen from grace and chose to be disobedient to God and these Angels followed Satan in his fall and became the demons, but the other two third junctions of the angels were selected to not pursue Satan, and were deep-rooted in their sanctity. It explains the meaning that the period of testing is over now they are no more capable of being fallen and move towards the path of Satan or sin. The stem of angelology is linked with the associated premise of demonology and satanology. In Christianity, each of themes is the realm of the mystical power. Angelology is the study of pure and pious celestial being. Demonology is the study of monarchy in hell. Satanology falls in the dark sphere of hell.
