John the Apostle

John the Apostle was one of the 12th Apostle of Jesus. He was the beloved Apostle amongst the others and was the only one who stood by the side of Jesus at the time of crucifixion. It is said that he was writer the four Gospels, the Revelation and Epistles. He wrote the Gospels so that he could let the world know about the life of Jesus and who God was. It was him who has believed that Jesus was written from the dead when the other apostles had abandoned Jesus. John Apostle was the youngest of the 12 Apostles and lived a long life.

When Jesus was about to get crucified, he handed John the responsibility of his mother. John was the only man who had heard the last words of Jesus. John and his brother were called the sons of Thunder. This is because of the aggressive nature John and his brother possessed. They wanted to teach Samarian a lesson that disobeyed Jesus. But Jesus refused to do so. John had learnt many a things from Jesus. Jesus took John along with him to places where no other Apostles were taken too. Jesus loved John over others and it was John only he stood by Jesus till his last breath. John was given the title of Evangelist and was marked with the symbol of Eagle.

John took care of Mary in every way he was asked to and protected her every where she went to. It shows that he was faithful and responsible. He was a dedicated man and a deep thinker. He was often regarded as ordinary and uneducated man by the other Apostles including his closest friend Peter who was the head of Apostles. He has taught human race many lessons through his attribute and nature. These lessons are responsibility, faithfulness and dedication to God.

Faithfulness

The faithfulness of John Apostle is one of the distinguishing features of that have made him so beloved in the eyes of Jesus. All his life he has preached faithfulness to his disciples through his faith in God and Christ. John was a faithful servant of His Master that made him the prominent Apostle amongst the others. He was a faithful Eagle that looked after his Lamb, the Christ, where ever He went to. He often accompanied Christ to various places including those that were never visited by other apostles.

John was not only faithful to his Master but was faithful to his friend Peter as well who considered John to be an average man who had no superficial quality of his own to be an Apostle. John remained faithful to the orders of the Christ especially when he was entrusted with the duty of taking care of Mary after Jesus. He kept his promise and took the best care of Mary as she wanted him to. He served her till her last breath in Jerusalem.
