Introduction

Heritage reflects ethnical and cultural perspectives of an individual. It provides complete social and cultural background of an individual. This requires proper system to identify social and cultural diversification in the community. It involves various important aspects, which define cultural and traditional perspectives of an individual's health care, depending on cultural believe and health traditions. Along with cultural and traditional aspects in health care management, religion is also very important in developing health and social care maintenance. On the basis of different ethnicity, “cultural heritage generally includes a common language, family, values, norms, and religious tradition” (Dreachslin, et.al, 2012, p. 432)

Heritage assessment tool is an excellent approach for identifying the cultural and social background of different families and assessing their social, cultural and religious practices in order to develop better strategic planning in order to design health care measures. The evaluation through heritage assessment tool is beneficial in providing detailed information to assess maintaining quality in health maintenance, protection and restoration in different ethnical and cultural population. According to this heritage assessment method, three different families were interviewed to highlight the cultural differences and then assessing health care practices on the grounds of these differences.

Heritage assessment tool is very effective for the maintenance, protection and restoration of health on the basis of different cultural perspectives.

Heritage assessment is very useful in identification of different cultural and traditional perceptions, social values and religious ideologies.

These differences are very useful in determining health care issues on the basis of their different lifestyles.

This assessment is very significant in analyzing and assessing different behavioral and psychological aspects in life of an individual, which assist councilors to understand the reasons for the change in behavior and development of negative attitudes.

The heritage assessment is also very important in understanding the reasons for various transmitted diseases, transmitted from one community to another. This is more common in marriage and relation between different communities.

There are also various health care issues in case of migrations for the native communities and the immigrants. For example there have been various immigrations from Mexico, India, Africa and various other countries to United States, which resulted in transmission of diseases.

The concepts and rituals about health care, life and death, are also very different in different communities.

Heritage assessment is also very useful in determining different traditional methods of treatment in different communities. For example in Chinese community, people are more inclined towards traditional methods.

It is also very important in assessing different perceptions and measures about the hygiene maintenance in different communities, which is very essential for the health maintenance, protection and restoration.

It very important for the identification of cultural competence and it is very significant in providing health care education and creating awareness in different cultures.
