Introduction

Bacteria are a cellular organ and can be witnessed everywhere in any habitat or location. (Schwimmer, 1991, pp. 2415)These unicellular organisms can multiply in minutes and seconds and can be beneficial as well as dangerous in some cases. They can contaminate the environment or make it useful in various situations. Microbiologists are on the view to reduce the affect and impact of bacteria because they are the source of many diseases. Therefore, in order to avoid the bacteria strains microbiologists develop Aseptic techniques.

The Aseptic Techniques focuses on minimizing the affect of these microscopic organisms from particular areas where they are needed. (Schwimmer, 1991, pp. 2415)It does not only, minimizes the affect of these organisms but they also restricts their growth from one are to another.

The procedure to implement these techniques includes usage of non-contaminated fluids and equipments. On the other hand, the equipments used in medical practices for example in an operation needs to sterilize with some machine or a high flame.

Importance of Aseptic Techniques

Aseptic Techniques are of integral importance in medical procedures as well as, for microbiologists. If these techniques

Aseptic technique Hands need to be washed Wash work surface with disinfectant Identify the portion of the agar containing the culture medium. Place the pots; cover up, on work surface. Take a sterile swab and moisten with sterile saline The cover of all the Petri dishes needs to be opened. Remove the swab on the agar and make a movement back and forth.

Cover and clean the pots.

Clean the environment

If the techniques are not implemented they can cause serious issues like they can press the spread of bacteria in open environment where they need to be avoided. By poor aseptic technique, we risk becoming infected and infecting patients or other persons with whom we have contact. In the laboratory microbiology, aseptic technique are similar rules apply in addition to specific to the different techniques used. (Lammert, 2007, pp. 1728)To avoid contamination it is important to always be aware (e) bacteria are present everywhere in our environment (air, object, skin, etc.) and they may come and contaminate our workspace. To prevent undesirable microorganisms are contaminating our surfaces.

The importance of the Aseptic techniques can be judged in the field of medical sciences. Operations are the most critical procedures in hospitals. Let's understand the importance of the technique from an example:
