Before The Law by Franz Kafka

Introduction to the Author and Novel

Franz Kafka was a famous writer on the history of human society, betrayed and confused irrational systems. He had German Jewish parents, was raised in Prague, where he earned a law degree and worked as an insurance company, while fiction is mainly on the short side. He began publishing short stories in 1907, but now he considers his most important works appeared posthumously. Kafka bequeathed after his death that his works should be destroyed. Before the Law is Franz Kafka's one of the most famous writings. It is a parable in the novel called The Trial. Before the Law was published in Franz Kafka's life time while there were a couple of novels that were published after his death. This parable of Kafka is almost as enigmatic as Waiting for Godot. Maybe even it seems so strange, seemingly meaningless, as we saw in Beckett: a field man sitting outside the door waiting for permission to "recognize” the law. With the permission was never granted, never is, despite his years of design life.
