Discussion and Analysis

The black hawk crashed in the middle of the city with hostile civilians and the mission suddenly changed to a rescue operation to secure the Blackhawk and their crew. The Somalia militia throws up road blocks so the humvees cannot enter the crash site and they became lost and suffered heavy causalities. Eversmann's unit finally reached the crash site and set up a defensive perimeter. While this was happening, super-six four gets shot down and no ground forces can reach them. Two soldiers which were inserted by helicopter voluntarily defended the crash site (Bowden, 2010). They find a man alive and try to fight off the militia, but then fail and all get killed except Durant who gets captured. The soldiers attempted to continue the convoy, but are soon left behind. Another thing that I liked was the constant time updates displayed on the screen, it kept you updated on what was happening and it gave you an idea of how fast time was passing. The special effects were also very good, explosions and gunfire was bar none, looking 100% realistic. The sounds of all the action was also very realistic, which ...
