Indeed, leaders are extremely important to the effectiveness of most organizations. The leadership is vital for success of organization, for its vision and long term strategy. This strategy is then divided into a number of short-term stages and responsibility upon these stages is devolved to managers as their objectives. Leaders are able to establish highly committed and energetic workforce, which easily achieve requirements, are able to adapt quickly to changing environments and competently produce a viable product or service. Leadership is related to process of communication, interpersonal behaviour and motivation. Also it is important in reducing employees' dissatisfaction. In addition, most of social organizations are designed to perform like machines, which are just switched on. Leaders are necessary to structure tasks and decide who does what and delegate task between right employees. (Mullins 1999). Another reason, why leadership is vital for any companies is that organizations exist within changing environments and as external conditions are changing, leaders are needed to identify and adapt new strategies and create a new “company mission”. In addition the right leader is able to coordinate the effort of diverse units within an organization, mainly during difficult periods of rapid decline or growth of a company. It has to be said, that one of the most important duties of successful leader is to motivate and to inspire. The need of motivation and maintaining of involvement in organization is vital. Although leader could be for a company very expensive resource, by establishing motivated and committed working environment, company is able to keep wages low even during intensification of work. Working individuals are not permanent fixtures of organization and their needs and wants are changing over time. Effective leadership provides purpose and meaningful vision where organization is going.
