The entertainment and information media is rapidly going digital. The new media use PCs for every task, these PC store information digitally (Bizony,5). Nowhere is the digital progress more visible than on the wide screen. The real world wizard of Oz and Alice in wonderland is creating new varieties of illusion with digital effects. Hollywood is more like a silicon valley than Tinsel Town (Times Mirror magazine, 6). Some of the examples in the new technology, and themes of today's digital domain are given below

The digital domain today is interested in bringing together people from defense, design, scientific imaging, and traditional broadcast television, CGI areas and film. These elements come down into cost, efficiency, capacity and software refinement (Bizony, 30).
