Introduction

It will not be wrong to deem that over time the world has been divided into a few determined blocks, by the somewhat unknown major players of the world. It seems as if the world, its major players and even the inhabitants are both content and habitual of seeing the world through those eyes that have been given to us by the movers and shakers of the world. They endow certain, sights, perceptions and cognitions into our minds via the most effective and influential mediums that exist in the world; and we accept those facts to their face values and easily endorse the perceptions that they known and unknown players want to inculcate in us.

Not only do the inhabitants of the world endorse the perceptions and the views straightforwardly, but they also start basing their future or potential judgements, on those preconceived notions and judgments, which actually are not even theirs, but were inculcated in them by a third party. It further appears that as the inhabitants of the world are being rendered by the ever increasing facilities and technical advancements; they are finding it easy to receive everything that is being presented to them on its face value, and place their faith in their claims and conviction. They find it either horrendous or trivial to cogitate too much over the depiction of the scenario, presented by the third party, and prefer to mould their understanding and perceptions accordingly, rather than going out of the way to actually strive for finding the truth themselves.

Amongst the major players of the world that play a pivotal role in moulding our perceptions and understanding of certain vital matters and affairs is the media. Media has always been a medium for supplying to the world the latest and the most important happenings of the world. However, although media has always been the most influential medium, yet it was never this strong as it is now. What really added to the strength of the media and consolidated its position and significance was the new and ever advancing technology. The added Technology into the media has advanced its services, credibility and influencing capabilities.

Main Theme of the Theoretical Framework

Many researchers believe, and it even has been proven that media has some extreme and unimaginable capability of influencing and moulding the mindset of the viewers. The individuals behind these media powers are excessively astute and shrewd, and possess the capability to control and manipulate the insight of the viewers in such a subtle manner, which cannot be figured out and determined by a naive mind.

Moreover, the constituents of the media are not only confined to the major news channels that play a pivotal role in moulding the views and insights of their respective target audience, but also the entertainment channels, as well as the movies.
