Implications of new technology for learning and teaching

There are many implications of new technology for learning and teaching. There are many disadvantages along with many worthy advantages. One of the most evident facts reveals that there with the growing age and increasing innovations in technologies. Sometimes children face a lot of difficulties in making themselves adaptable with the process of learning and at the same time the learning process is also affected largely which is discussed further keeping in view all the factors involved in this process of learning and teaching in a technological age.

Throughout the literature there has been great indication that Media education in its broadest sense to the media not as a medium of instruction but as an object of study is almost as old as the media themselves. According to (Neuform, 2007) whether to worry their negative influence and to protect young people to invest rather larger democratization of utopia or, more rarely, the opportunity to make meaningful educational practices: indeed, there have always been pioneers both media fanatics and providing for the future, involving a particular action or course assignments in a particular context public or private, with such and such young people inside or outside the school, more rarely with adults, for educational purposes.

Theories of Learning

According to (Kuiper, 2005) there are several theories of learning which can be very much relevant with the adaptation of children toward education with the help of technology. Some of the most important theories of learning are discussed such as Conductive, Cognitive, Constructivist, and Systemic. These all theories of learning help a lot in order to assist and convey an educational message to children in the shape of learning.
