Abstract

The Murder on a Sunday Morning has critically described the injustice system of US judicial system. The case has described the life of an innocent black boy that has charged a crime which he did not performed. The life has totally disturbed due to injustice and ineligibility of judicial department and forensic assessment evaluation. The case has discussed at international level and formulated in a film. The racial discrimination and judicial department ineligibility has diversified the accurate the may affluent for solving the case at proper level.

The Murder on Sunday Morning has grabbed the attention at international level. The case has significantly described the injustice system of US judicial department and how a black young boy has confessed the crime which he did not committed. The case also enlightened the racial discrimination and the decision that based on this disparity issue. The case has captured the million attractions and shared their views on injustice system of US.

Description of Case Study

The case has happened in May 7th, 2000 when retired couple James Stephens and his wife Mary Ann were in parking lot of Ramada Inn in Jacksonville, Florida. The young black man has approached the innocent couple for the purpose of robbery. The couple had from Toccoa and visited Georgia for spending their vacations. The couple has been returning from breakfast. Suddenly the black man seized the couple and point out the gun and demanded the May Ann purse. She was refused to give her purse because she must have some valuable accessories in the purse. Unfortunately the robber shot the gun and Mary Ann as dead on that moment. The poor husband was in shock position and continuously stared his dead wife. The robber flew away by taking the Mary Ann purse. The attacker had run away from the point of incident and Mrs. Stephen's purse. Brenton Butler, a 15 year old student was also in the same place where this incident had happened. The student filled a job application form at nearby Blockbuster video shop. The husband of victim identified a wrong person as a shooter and charged him in case of murder. The police caught the innocent black young boy in the murder case which he had not committed (Wagner, 2010).

Potential Role of Forensic Psychology

The leading role of forensic psychologists is to maintain an association between justice system and psychology. It involves considerate illegal law in the pertinent jurisdictions in order to be able to interrelate suitably with judicial members. The main responsibility is to provide an accurate witness that has been presented at the point of incident. This will help the prosecutors and the victim to identify either he was accused or not.
