Foster care program and single parenting is essential in today's society because the younger generation of our country is experiencing a lot more problems; therefore, children need adults who are committed to take care of them rather than perfect foster parents.

Introduction

This paper intends to discuss foster care program and single parenting as a social issue. I am interested in this issue mainly because I feel foster care is essential for children. In today's modern society, younger generation is deprived of essential foster care and much of our youth is experiencing homelessness which creates several emotional concerns impacting their well being. The purpose of this paper is to describe the significance of foster care program in relation with single parenting. Moreover, various aspects of the social issue chosen will be elaborated like the practical implications of sociological inquiry within the issue.

The social issue I have chosen is foster care program and single parenting. Our society is producing children who are deprived of the basic foster care. For this reason, I believe there is a significant need for increasing the trend of foster parents. Foster and single parents can provide the ultimate care to the children which are experiencing homelessness and are deprived of the care they needed (Philip, 2000 Pp. 155-164). Teenagers living on the roads need to go through recovery to appropriate their actions and provide them with lifestyle abilities to allow them to lead a quality lifestyle. It is crucial to assist the abandoned younger generation so that they can access proper tasks, knowledge, and possibilities that would make them effective people.
