Introduction

Interpersonal communication takes place between two people who are physically close. Each person produces messages that are a response to other people's messages developed during the conversation between two or more people. Humans are included in a world of communication, and, it is divided into three parts that includes interpersonal communication, group communication, and, media's communication. The different forms of communication have different characteristics, different advantages and disadvantages, and, therefore, are useful or useless depending on the objectives of those who use them. No one uses a commercial television channel to talk with a friend. When using social media, it is very difficult to know what was the reaction or the effect of the message.

A discernible difference exists between news media, which does not allow the facilitation of dialogue and interpersonal communication. According to some authors, the principles of interpersonal communication are: "People communicate because that communication is necessary for psychological well-being. Communication is not only a human need but a means to satisfy many. Interpersonal communication skills should not be measured solely by the degree to which community behavior helps to satisfy its individual needs. It should also be measured by the degree to which people provide satisfaction to other people. Therefore, interpersonal relationships are a key issue in everybody's lives, functioning not only as a means to achieve specific objectives, but as an end in it.

Interpersonal Communication in Business Environment

Interpersonal communication serves four major functions within a group or organization, control, motivation, emotional expression and information. In addition, the process of communication is used in daily life. Whether a person is communicating with his family, friends, or a stranger effective communication is necessary. Because, communication is a process through which a person transfers his message to another person (Eckhouse, 1999). Now the process of communication is effective when the message sent by the sender is received and properly understood by the receiver. Otherwise, it would be ineffective communication. Communication acts to control individual behavior in various ways. The organization has guidelines hierarchies of authority and forms to which employees should be addressed (Eckhouse, 1999).

For example, when asked subordinates to communicate first with your manager any irregularities related to work, in order to follow the job description or to comply with company policies, communication serves as a function control. There are two main forms of communication formal and informal communication. The type of business communication that is used in daily life is called informal communication because it lacks formal procedure. But informal communication also controls the behavior. When the working groups annoy or harass some members produce more than others (and make the rest of the group look bad), informally they communicate and control their behavior.
