Introduction

Lesson plan is an important tool for providing detailed guides for teachers in presenting the curriculum. These help teachers to develop the teaching material required for teaching students (O'Bannon 2008). The material required is differentiated according to levels. They are various methods for teaching students. They are considered as the road map for teachers and a certain direction and understanding the direction the teacher can take. This planning also helps in the absence of teacher in understanding the lesson to be taught to the students. This paper presents a science lesson plan for grade 5 students.

Purpose of the Lesson

The purpose of this lesson is to examine human actions and their consequences to our environment. In addition, the student must identify human actions that have been linked to the green house effect.

• The danger that global warming places on human, animal and plant life.
