Introduction

The main purpose of this paper is to write a monologue about the feelings of a girl stalked by a man. This is a story and feelings of a girl named Jessie who had been stalked by her ex boy friend named John. Jessie and John had broken up almost a year before, and since that time John is continuously stalking Jessie.

Monologue

John and Jessie were in relationship for almost five years. After five years Jessie came to know that John is an addict of alcohol and drugs. Therefore, she broke up with John, and started to live alone. John felt that in an embarrassing way, and since that time he has started stalking Jessie. Jessie is very threatened and afraid of John's stalking. John started sending flowers to Jessie, sending her balloons and intimating her with abusive messages. He used to follow Jessie wherever she goes. In the start Jessie did not notice anything. One day Jessie came out for work, there she felt that somebody is continuously following her. She firstly ignored that thought, but later on she noticed that he is John. Jessie got intimated because of continuous following of John. After wards, John sent flowers to Jessie with a written note. The note contained the threatening words, and name of John was written in the note. Thus, Jessie has got very afraid. Later on, the stalking by John to Jessie continued to increase. This stalking by John kept on increasing with every passing day. There came a time that John started following Jessie wherever Jessie goes. John started sending her text messages too. In these text messages John used to write that I know everything about you and you did very wrong to me. I will take revenge from you for hurting me.

Stalking is considered to be a crime. It is an unlawful act to stalk someone and send threatening message. Jessie was so afraid. She was confused what to do. Somehow she still had feelings for John; therefore, she was afraid to take any legal action because she did not want to hurt john. With times, the stalking kept on increasing, and Jessie became so frightened. She stopped going outside, and even resigned from her job. After her resignation from the job, when John noticed that now Jessie does not go out then he started sending more text messages and flowers to Jessie containing threatening message. These threatening messages have really hurt Jessie, and she became intimidated of all these acts. It became difficult for her to sleep at night. She got very frightened that she stopped sleeping at night. She remained awake whole night because she was afraid that John can come inside and hurt her. Thus, she also became a victim of depression, and there came a time when she stopped eating too. Because of the depression and fear of John, she became a psycho patient. She could not eat properly, she could not sleep properly. One day her sister came to her ...
