Introduction

This is about the movie “My Girl” released in 1991 and directed by Howard Zieff. This cute and sometimes even touching tape attracted many admirers - and, above all, because combining two lovely and soulful (but not too much affectation senses) story about the search for mutual understanding and happiness seems to be close to each other by people of all ages, all of which -still feel alienated in their own family. Relatively young widower Harry Saltenfuss running make-up artist at the funeral home, and his daughter, eleven-year-Wade, each in their own, suffer from loneliness and would like to find a sincere and devoted friend. Finally, Harry get the chance to explore the new woman in his life by the name of Shelley, and Thomas Wade meets a boy with whom she first kisses. Incidentally, this early experience of romantic communication eleven so touched by audiences and critics that the received Message Boards youth channel MTV, and debutante Anna Klamski the same age as her character, in addition, received the award that are given annually to young performers in the U.S.. The film enjoyed great success at the box office, so it is not surprising that after more than two years there was a continuation of "My Girl 2", however, popular it has always been enjoyed.

The character chosen for this paper is Vada Sultenfuss, who is 11 years old. The reason I chose this character, because Vada Sultenfuss is playing a central role in the movie. The whole story is all about her experiences. She has portrayed and played a role of a quiet child, because she believes that she is the sole reason of her mother's death. Her mother died while giving birth to her.
