Introduction

For the purpose of justified attempts made by criminals, this paper shall focus on the accounts of killings and murder attempts that have been made in the past for the purpose and objective of comprehending the functioning of the human mind and on what accounts could those be entertained or justified as innocent.

A little insight

Whenever discussing murder attempts that have undertaken by individuals in the past, generally people have highlighted the notion of revenge as the prime motive behind all crimes that have been undertaken. Motives could include the liability of fulfilling the departure of a loved one, money, power, status, corporate reputation or simple sheer satisfaction of the criminal mind. These crimes undertaken with this objective are guilty, but with the passage of time and with the fast-paced technological backing, individual researchers and crime investigating bodies have upgraded their area or field of scrutiny, going in greater depths of understand the undertaking of the mind itself.

Sleep-Walking: An unknown mystery

Sleep walking implies a phenomenon where the person intends to walk in his subconscious state, of which he does not know or remember once he has awakened. Although generally sleepwalking cases consist of simple, repeated behaviors, there are occasionally reports of people performing complex behaviors while asleep, although their legitimacy is often disputed. n 2004, sleep medicine experts in Australia claimed to have successfully treated a woman who claimed to have sex with strangers in her sleep (Unnever, 2004). In December 2008, reports were published of a woman who sent semi-coherent emails while sleepwalking, including one inviting a friend around for dinner and drinks. Sleepwalkers often have little or no memory of the incident, as they are not truly conscious. Although their eyes are open, their expression is dim and glazed over. Sleepwalking may last as little as 30 seconds or as long as 30 minutes or may even extend upto an acute 24 hours, which needs to be treated with immediate effect.

In Los Angeles alone, there have been several accounts and cases where individuals have killed other people, dumped them in the graveyard or fed them to the animals and eventually heading home to sleep without awakening. There have been several rare cases in which an alleged act of homicide has occurred, and the prime suspect may have committed the act while sleepwalking. About 69 cases to date have been known.

Now we know that all that takes place is not always due to revenge. There are several accounts on the basis of which individuals make way for becoming criminals who we see in our daily. The most prominent behaviors and factors that have been highlighted in the construction of the criminal itself has been discussed below.

The Criminal behaviour is always learned

As it happens with almost all the psychological contexts of learning, the theory of differential association suggests and gives the hypothesis that the attitude of individuals is inclined, formed by various individuals they have association with (Weaver, ...
