Introduction

Ever since the beginning of world man has derived certain school of thoughts in accordance with which societies are organized. Evolving from these school of thoughts are certain standards and doctrines that surround our lives and thereby act as the prime foundations on which the world is organized. Politics is one of those foundations. As the political arena continues to change, one of the issues that has dominated these changes and still remains as seriously dangerous issue is political corruption. Corruption is an acute obstruction to growth, siphoning off resources exclusive to open public services and raising degrees of disappointment and marginalization of major fragments of the populations (Huntington and Moore, 1970,pp. 155 ) .In spite of the measure taken to reduce political corruption, the issue has shown negligible signs of being reduced. There is noticeably recent curiosity about the types of leader-ship related to adverse consequences for public or other components of government. The fact that leadership is the core competency in any government or public structure that can help in prevalence or reduction of corruption cannot be denies. Destructive leadership is apparently surfacing as one of the most vivid contributor to corruption. A comprehensive cognitive schema of the adverse leadership can be defined as the recurrent and systematic actions by a political leader that violates the genuine and legit interest of the country and public ...
