Political Ideology

Introduction

In the context of the contemporary global civilization, different societies have been able to develop their own form of national political entities. Although the primary objective of all political ideologies is to provide adequate form of regulatory system, in which the relevant population can thrive. Although Democracy is defined as one of the most widely implemented forms of political ideologies adopted in the majority of the counties, there still exist several other ideologies. The main reason why democracy is considered to be the most effective and ideal political ideology is based on the principle of power to the people; which is the core ideology of the democratic form of government. It is the people who have the complete power to change the dynamics of the ruling authority, hence have the right to make the relevant changes in the given society. The democratic form of government is not based on highly specified infrastructures; rather it is based on the general ideology. This form of government would be developed in a different way for the different national environments of countries on the global scale. In Democracy every citizen of a community has the right to raise his opinion and vote for the desired form of social infrastructure (Mudde, 2010). Even though democracy has several deficiencies and limitations, it is still considered to be the fairest form of government systems.

It would be wrong to assume that the current global political environment is influenced by the perfect democratic ideology. The fact is that even though Democracy is implemented in the majority of the developed countries, the crucial ideologies from other political ideologies are also included. This system ensures that even though the rights of every person living in the community are respected and acknowledged, the government is still able to fulfill its complete responsibilities and objectives. The government authorities have to ensure that they have a long term perception regarding the various national concerns, and that it is able to satisfy the adequate demands of the general population in an effective manner.
