Submission to the EPA on the Mangles Bay Marina-based Tourist Precinct

Submission to the EPA on the Mangles Bay Marina-based Tourist Precinct

Introduction

For this submission the argument will specifically focus on the road traffic management plan which intends to provide the safety traffic route towards Mangles Bay Marina-based Tourist Precinct. The earlier proposal defined that traffic volume will increase on the roads connected with it and therefore it is needed to address and reduce the problems and encourage high public safety (Zegeer et al, 2001, pp.56). Further, the proposal also contains the plans for the reduction in amenity by noticing pollution and amenity is expected to increase in the coming years. The objective of this submission is to provide the developmental improvements to road traffic management at the Mangles Bay to provide clean environment to the local public from the density of the road traffic as the proposal indicates that it will likely affect the local surroundings in the coming years (EPA, 2004).

The earlier proposal suggests that specific management actions have been taken to address this issue which includes the designing the roads according the traffic structure currently running in the city of the Rockingham. This is proposed to accomplish by ensuring the proper traffic rules and regulations and other steps which encourage the safety in the local public and tourists. Further, route construction traffic plans have been implemented which discourage the heavy weight vehicles' entry into the high density and residential areas. This is proposed to accomplish by reducing the density of local traffic volumes at Mangles Bay. In addition, proposal also contains the plans for upgrading the standard of the memorial drive which will further cater the increased demands such as management of the huge traffic in the times of intersection controls (EPA, 2004). To ensure this objective, the proposal suggests maintaining the general rules and regulations that would encourage the road traffic safety from the environmental pollution at the Mangles Bay.

The proposal provides the road traffic management and monitoring through the series of activities through the on-going cycle of proposal implementation and evaluation. The monitoring of the proposal involves that the complaints of the all nature should be handled and responded as the front hand so that the corrective actions can be taken on the time. The proposal is targeting that there by the time the traffic complaints if not possible to result in the zero, should be reduced to the minimal. This document will discuss the validity of those assumptions and what modifications and improvements can be done in the proposal (Zegeer et al, 2001, pp.61).

The objective of this submission is to provide the insights about that road traffic management which is one of the environmental concerns at the Mangles Bay Marina-based Tourist Precinct. The document will analyze the systematic options of the road traffic management with relation to the environmental concerns which will provide the dynamic measures of improving the traffic volume at the Mangles bay (Westerman, ...
