About Interviewee's Organization - Carolinas Healthcare

Carolinas Healthcare is the leading provider of private health care insurance and health care services in US. Their aim is to help people to become mentally and physically healthier, while lowering their overall healthcare costs and risks for diseases and disabilities and provide them health insurance. The business based on the following facts. First, exercise is medicine and those who exercise regularly are healthier. Second, all inclusive mind-body exercise prescriptions administered by board certified exercise physiologists. At the Centre, Healthcare assessments (e.g., cardiovascular, muscular, stress management and spirituality) linked directly to the health and well-being of the clients/patients. Third; provide Health insurance to families to make them feel secure. The expectation is that, through the use of the Carolinas Healthcare's facility, members' enjoyment and appreciation for mind-body health and fitness enhanced.

Carolinas Healthcare owns and manages hospitals, dispensing pharmacies and diagnostic clinics. It also offers consultancy services. About Interviewee's Role - Public Relations Officer

The person that is being interviewed is a public relations officer working for Carolinas Healthcare. The main task of the public relations officer is to promote the image of the Carolinas Healthcare, which I think she is doing brilliantly. She puts in place measures to promote the company externally. The role the public relation officer is playing is like the transmission belt with the business environment (Brooks, 2009).

Reporting to the director of communication, public relations officer is responsible for promoting and maintaining the image of the Carolinas Healthcare, for which she works. The public relations officer builds, manages and develops the image to a diverse audience: customers, suppliers, partners, local authorities. To do this, it provides information about the company, its business, its environment and its strategy. Information passing through the organization of events such as tours, exhibitions, seminars, and cocktail parties etc is also handled by the public relations officer of Carolinas Healthcare. She also promotes communication with the media. Intermediary between the company and journalists, public relations officer, ensures visibility of the company and its leaders. Press releases and relations with journalists are responsible when there is no attached Press in charge of this job.
