Introduction

The topic is about “Religious ritual”, now we firstly need to define what we mean when we say religious rituals.”Rituals” by definition are activities and events which have some symbolic significance. This report is about the analysis of an event in the context of the mentioned articles. A famous saying is that if you actually want to know who is Anthropologist then you need to see what they do. The anthropologist main objective is to do ethnography which basically means contextualization. Contextualization may be defined as the scientific and logical description of any culture. It includes everything of that culture, from formation to composition and social welfare characteristics (Shaivam, 1998).

Discussion

Two articles are used to make this descriptive analysis of the selected cultural event. The first article “Doing Fieldwork among the Yanomamo” was about the Yanomamo Indian tribe who lived in South Venezuela are still not in connection, with the outside world. The people of this tribe seem to follow different values from the rest of United States. For example people in this tribe remain naked and does not bath regularly. The author of this article perfectly does the ethnography of the culture of this tribe and discusses in detail about how they live, what they eat and how they interact with each other.

The Second article was about “A dispute In Donggo Field work” also had ethnography as its main theme. This article portrays the dispute in donggo. This article discuses The dispute: the accused: La Ninde, the accuser: Ina Mone, who claimed that la Ninde assaulted her, the evidence: medication on Ina Mone face and a ripped shirt and finally the result that La Ninde was made to kneel in front of ina Mone begging forgiveness, and she gave him a symbolic slap on the head.
