Abstract

The paper aims to study the research paper of different author and then has derived certain essential that refers to identifying the philosophical basics and then from the broader topic further redefining it to a framework that identifies the research problem. In addition to this understanding the design, set strategy and boundaries of the research to obtain the relavant findings.

Identify a philosophical foundation

acids and carbohydrates (i.e. fructose, glucose and sucrose) on the longevity, lifetime fecundity, egg viability and population growth of this important pest of brassicas and on the reproduction of Plutella xylostella. The research conducted exhibits causal relationship, which was an experimental research under labortary environment to check the cause and effect between different variables. The philosophy of logical positivism was followed under this research.

The past researchers have shown studies on the use of floral resource which has increased efficiency of natural enemies. However, the author in his research has refered to the broader area which aims to discuss floral resources usage and its effect on pest populations.

Phytophagous insects are pests formidable crop production. The way to fight is not the most common no doubt the use of synthetic chemicals. of Many species of insects have become resistant to insecticides (nearly 2000 cases of resistance have been reported in 504 species Georghiou, 1991). The development of control methods alternative was therefore amplified, such as biological control, which is a key element of the concept of integrated pest management.

Basic knowledge of the ecology and biology of entomophagous insects are the foundation of successful uses these auxiliary (Poppy, 1997).
