Abstract

The study covers the techniques used for sampling and coding of data. There are various sampling techniques used and according to the nature of research the technique is opted. The papers cover all the major elements of the process of sampling and coding of data in the statistical used softwares like SPSS. Introduction

In any business research sampling and coding of data are the key element in order to find the valid research results of the study. In this paper the sampling technique and sampling design is discussed about the three questions related to online dating and its effects on young individual's singles. Sample size of any business research contains sample size, sampling technique, nature of research and target population. After that parameters of research are mentioned which reflects the investigating technique used to analyze the data. After collection of data the step of analysis come and this is done by some statistical softwares most commonly SPSS. This software can be used for both quantitative and qualitative analysis. The process of coding of data in software is necessary which is done by converting string data into numeric in order to do quantitative analysis while the results of qualitative analysis can be explained by the use of graphs, bars and different types of charts. The paper explains the some of the elements of sampling and coding.
