Introduction

This paper discusses the adult education in context to the socio cultural, psychological, biological and cognitive factors that can affect the diverse demographics of the adult learners. In this paper one scenario that was provided is discussed. In scenario one I have to train 500 employees of the company about the new technology the employees has the age diversity from 17 to 70. The course should be developed for 6 months because the tenure of the training is 6 months. I have selected scenario one for the discussion.

Scenario 1

Throughout these early years of the twenty-first century we have witnessed profound changes resulting from technological innovation, globalization and demographic change. Technology is the most rapid changing thing in the corporate world and it became necessary for the companies to adapt the changing technology to remain competent in the market (Geary, 1995). The training undertaken in the context of work, more than just a legal obligation, it became imperative. Currently, training is now the rule and not the exception. In private and public sector, continuous improvement is an inescapable requirement. Trainers, tutors and mentors authorities are now required in all types of organizations and in all contexts of intervention.

The Training Program is about the adaption of the new technology. In this scenario it will be discusses that How and Why adults learn seeks to improve their knowledge and skills in key areas of instructional design, dynamism and motivation of adults who work in an increasingly complex and higher level of uncertainty. Moreover, adults learn also how to plan, implement and evaluate a training program in accordance with the fundamental principles of adult education (McAdams & Pals, 2006).
