Abstract

The aim of the writer is to determine and address the web based student support system with respect to its design and evaluation. Web based student support system will be significant for the day to day activities of new students in Huddersfield and its university. Furthermore, the web based system will provide help support to the system and required actions for the needs of the students. In order to define the essential support for the system, the report provides a number of theoretical approaches to student's lives and learning such as student independence and autonomy. The industrialization of web based, didactic guide is always going to be a concern for students. Moreover, the report also identifies the problem space, design problem, persona the analysis and presentation of data findings and the user requirement statements of the interest of students who use the web at most of the times.

Introduction

The report has been made with respect to the design of an online student website support system. The website intends to enhance and guild the daily activities of the lives of students of University of Huddersfield. Furthermore, the basis of this report is on analyses, so that an Internet based web support system for students or groups of students can be created. It is essential to develop a comprehensive information system that can enhance the students, education experience in the University of Huddersfield. The information system needs to be high of quality, which provides direction activities and a number of ways of communications.

In addition, this report aims to determine and address those elements of the web based support system, which can have a significant impact and influence the student's lives in the University of Huddersfield. One of the most significant needs of this support system is to provide assistance to the students in finding their way around the university and the town of Huddersfield.
