Introduction

Brodbeck et.al (2002) accumulated data on leadership and culture from enterprises in a wide variety of industries in Germany. This data collection was the fundamental step for conducting the GLOBE project. The study was conducted to determine the management and leadership practices that are concurrent in industry practices in Germany. The study was able to distinguish the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of the leadership style prevalent in Germany.
