Introduction

Industrial Revolution proved to be an event of great importance as it lead to drastic economic developments in the United States of America. The following paper identifies developments that proved to be positive for U.S. and developments that produced negative impact for America and also identifies if it was good for America's development or not.

The Industrial Revolution

America entered into the Industrial Revolution after the Embargo Act was passed in the year 1807 and the events leading to the War of 1812. Americans were distressed with the situations and went in war with Great Britain in 1812. The war resulted in a great need for the Americans to expand its manufacturing systems (Kelly, n.d). Industrialization came to America in three major developments in transportation sector, electricity and improvements of production and refining processes.

Positive impacts of the developments during the Industrial Revolution

Industrial Revolution proved to be very significant as it gave working rights to the women where the girls and the ladies were given a chance to work outside their homes than being house wives or imprisoned. For low wage-work many companies tried to acquire girls and women for the textile industry in the nineteenth century (Kelly, n.d). These female workers worked very hard in order to earn a living for aiding their families and paying bills etc. Women however worked for less than the men but it gave the women rights of freedom and speech and ultimately women were regarded to be important people in the developments of the State with significant work roles to play (Kelly, n.d).

On the other hand, Industrial Revolution provided working opportunities to the immigrants and paved ways for their warnings. It also diversified the products that were produced by the factories. People started growing as America was on the journey ...
