Introduction

There are 66 different books making Bible. However, it is divided into two sections. The first one is called as Old Testament which includes information about the origins and history of Jews. The second section is known as New Testament which included the birth and life of Son of God (Jesus Christ). Further it includes Church origin and principles and commands given to church. The New Testament consists of 27 books, written after Jesus was born. The New Testament begins with the four Gospels (John, Mark, Matthew, and Luke), which narrate the most important events in the life of Jesus and his teachings (Keene, 2002). The biographies of Son of God (Jesus Christ) in presented in the first four books of New Testament. Each book is written from different point demonstrating different purpose in mind. The New Testament contains the word of God and has been inspired by Him (Bruce, 2001). Therefore in this essay we shall describe the life of Jesus in New Testament. The purpose of this paper is to let readers know about the life of Jesus.

Among all the events of the life of Jesus, the Gospels note especially His death. Every gospel ends with the events of Calvary as the climax. Martin Kahler suggested that the gospels are narratives of Christ's passion with an introduction treating of his life. Although we have noted the importance of the death of Jesus in the gospels this only has meaning with the first part of the gospel that birth is miraculous.
