Underground Economy

Introduction

As we move further into the 21st century, time-old traditions are slowly becoming obsolete. For 218 years, the citizens of the United States of America have always voted for and looked to a white male to run the most powerful country in the world. Over the passage, of time women have tried hard to be a part of the society and attain equal rights same as men in the society. The rights of the Women are prerogative as well as freedom declared for females encompassing of all ages in countless states and societies.

In several places all across the globe, the rights of women were neither institutionalized nor supported by the government, the local administration or even the custom. Similarly, women were ignored, suppressed as well as discriminated on the bases of gender at workplaces as well as in every walk of life. Not only this, women were not even allowed to vote which can clearly denote that they were not thought as a part of the society (Chase, 440-458). There were claims based on the differences from broader philosophy of human rights all the way even inherent the historical as well as traditional prejudice in opposition to put into effect the women rights in accord to the men.

Economic transformation in many countries, like that of Latin American countries and Eastern European countries like Russia has significantly affected the activity of women in every field of life. Difficulties faced by society, coupled with declining family income at the same time means and reducing the time and effort that women could use to participate in corporate life at managerial positions as well as political life. The policy of total male reign of the late twentieth millennium is almost exhausted (Stockemer, 693-712). The world, deprived of female perspectives in the management, will not be able to progress as a world of civilized democratic states. Therefore, much depends on human resource policies, on the one hand, and on the other hand, public opinion changes in the patriarchal and conservative approach toward women who can be effective leaders just like their male counterparts. Stereotype attitudes towards women and how women themselves are aware of the importance ...
