This paper intends to discuss the significance of using technology for people who have some physical or mental illnesses. Previously; people going through some physical or mental illnesses were considered useless and were also completely eradicated from the professional world. The discrimination against such people was prominent. However; the underlying technological evolutions have started making the lives of people having any physical or mental illness a bit easy. This paper would analyze a situation of Samantha. Samantha is suffering from cerebral palsy and has difficulties with coordination and muscle spasms. This situation makes it difficult for her to utilize computers with standard keyboards and mouse. The paper will explore different technologies that Samantha could use to access a computer. Also; the significance of these technologies for supporting Samantha to access her curriculum will be discusses in this paper. The purpose of this paper is to make the readers aware about the significance of using modern technologies in one's life to improve efficiencies.
