A RACE AGAINST TIME: THE EGYPTIAN-ISRAELI NEGOTIATIONS OVER THE FUTURE OF PALESTINE. By: Perlmutter, Amos. Foreign Affairs, Summer79, Vol. 57 Issue 5, p987-1004.

This article analyzes the dynamics and necessity of the two phases of a peace treaty ratified by Egypt and Israel over the future of Palestine on March 29, 1979. On the issue of territory, the main bone of contention is the Israeli settlements.
