Introduction of bus system

A bus transport system operates within a particular city or between different cities neighboring each other. Buses may have different routes that are planned while taking into account the volume of passengers that commute from one point to another within the city. In addition to this, certain bus transportation services also operate between different states. For example, Greyhound Lines has a vast transportation network that spans virtually all of the United States. Its buses operate within different cities and states of America and the service has managed to efficiently deliver the best transportation services in the whole country. Identification of inherent problems faced by GreyHawk

A bus transportation service needs to take a lot of factors into account when starting services in a particular region. The infrastructure needs to be rigorously planned and meticulously detailed in order to make sure that the service is delivered to the customers in the most efficient manner. A lack of planning of the infrastructure would not be in the best interests of the transportation service as it would commonly lead to problematic situations more often than expected.

GreyHawk Transportation Services is a newly established business that operates in the populous and bustling city of New York. The service manages a fleet of 40 buses that travel on routes that span across the entire city. The main office, or the central command center of the transport system, is located near Madison Square Garden. There are a myriad of considerations that a GreyHawk Transport Service must take into account in order to increase its efficiency in the target market.

For example, proper planning of routes is essential in order to maintain an optimum level of efficiency. Routes that are too long will cause delays for the travelling passengers and this will discourage them from using the service in the future. A route that has not been planned in an efficient manner will also cause a range of inconvenience to the business. For example, if a route is planned in such a way that it requires a bus to cross a point twice, it would lead to inefficiency and levy additional charges. This would cost the business in terms of both time as well as money.

The transport infrastructure of many countries is not planned in the proper manner. This leaves it prone to a lot of errors. For example, in the case of GreyHawk, the buses commonly run behind schedule due to an inefficient system. Poorly planned out routes and improper management of the fleet of buses are the primary reasons that have been responsible for the inefficiency of the transportation systems. This means that potential passengers who wish to travel ...
