Abstract

This study will focus on the success and progressive rate of Toyota, its strategies and its policies to lead in the competitive market place and sustain its position. This purpose of this study is to discuss the SWOT analysis, and the current weakness and strengths of the company. Further some recommendations are offered to prepare a better strategic and communication plan to maintain its world-wide position successfully.

Introduction



TOYOTA MOTOR CORPORATION is a well-known Japan based company that is mostly carried out its business related to automobiles and finance. This company performs its functions through three different business sections. The Automobile section is based on the design, assemble, manufacture and sale of car products, involving minivans, 2BOX cars, sport-utility cars, sedans, vehicles and trucks, other relevant accessories and parts of cars . The Finance section is comprised of the provision of financial practices covering the income and sale of the Company's products, as well as the leasing of car products and apparatus. The Others segment is engaged in the design, manufacture and sale of housings, and the communication and information business. At the current situation, the Toyota Motors is comprised of an extended business with 212 associated companies and 507 subsidiaries.

Discussion

Toyota, one of the world's leading companies, basically emphasizes on the leadership. With the last many years Toyota has been showing a continuous progress by implementing improved and advanced strategic plans. Toyota focuses on target of quality with respect to its customers' demands, through proper management, business accountability and the continuous best performances by implementing advanced and progressive strategic plans. In order to produce the best market results (Boone and Kurtz 2011).

Impacts of the Company's Mission, Vision and Primary Stakeholders on Its overall Success

Mission statement is an effort to place corporate objectives and targets in words that can motivate. It designs the company's reason of serving stakeholders and further manages the way that targets to serve future key stakeholders.

Laying the stakeholders into a hierarchy, record those with the mainly authority & pressure at the top and to utilize proper information to defend their plans and strategies designed for the overall success of the company.
