CHAPTER 1: INTRODUCTION

1.1 Introduction

The concept of marketing refers to one of the division, whose task; it is services to market goods and, on the other hand describes the concept, a concept of holistic, market-based management to meet the needs and expectations of customers and other stakeholders. This understanding comes the marketing of a surgical technique influence (marketing mix instruments) to a leadership concept that other functions such as procurement, production, management and staff includes (Keaveney 2005 71). To address the many complexities involved in different types of markets, marketers need to plan and implement one or more marketing strategies in order to achieve the objectives that the company or business unit has set itself in its target market.

1.2 Significance of the Study

The study will help assess to make a fair comparison of the role marketing strategies for entrepreneurs in implementing business plan for opening restaurant.

1.3 Problem Statement

In recent years there has been an increased emphasis on marketing efforts from companies in order to gain more market share and competitive advantage. This research will helpful in forming marketing strategies in order to target the right market and provides handful of information about marketing mix. This study mainly focused on Entrepreneurship in Restaurant Business and marketing Strategies.
