Discussion

The one common thing that every child demands while growing up is 'love', 'attention' and 'involvement.' Most of the children receives all these basic requirements from either their families, specifically parents or sometimes teachers. Love is not the only thing which is considered important for children's development. Sometimes, parents provide exceptional love and undivided attention that the tendency of children being spoiled increases. Therefore, there is a need to strike a balance between providing love and teaching positive behaviors to the children. In order to achieve this balance provision, parents sometimes do not realize how they must cater the needs of their children (Brown & Bortoli, 2010 Pp. 50-58).

During the early years of children's development, the most important thing to focus is the approach with which educators and parents encourage behaviors in children that are desirable from the preschool ages. This encouragement is significantly important in both; the setting of home and child care centers. There are many approaches and methods being developed in order to promote the best possible development of children (Sharpe, 1998 Pp. 79-89).
